I’ve been neglecting the blog thing in favor of spending my free time researching some of the quirks of my new ride. So far, it’s been a bit of an adventure. I found the poor thing for sale on ebay, and managed to snag it for a reasonable price. This past weekend Joel and I rented a U-haul + trailer and brought the thing home. The trip out to the Philadelphia area and back was fairly uneventful, aside from almost ending up in Delaware and the truck giving off the constant aroma of Fruit-Flavored Dead Hooker(tm).
So far, most of my friends think that I’ve lost my mind. Kim is being a pretty good sport about things though, which is a definite plus. First up is getting the thing running, then on to brakes, then electrical, and finally inspection.
